
Indications for use:
Live attenuated vaccine containing antigen–antibody complex, intended for active immunization of chicks against Infectious Bursal Disease (Gumboro disease) by injection in one-day-old chicks.
Vaccine Composition:
This vaccine contains live Gumboro virus, strain Winterfield 2512, presented as a complex of antigen combined with monoclonal antibody, in lyophilized form.
Contraindications:
None.
Dosage and Administration:
The lyophilized vaccine must be completely reconstituted in an appropriate volume of diluent and administered either subcutaneously or by in ovo injection.
_Subcutaneous Injection:
The recommended dose of the diluted vaccine for administration in one-day-old chicks is 0.2 ml.It is administered manually or with an automatic vaccinator into the upper part of the neck.
_In ovo Injection:
The recommended dose for injection into eggs at 18 to 19 days of incubation is 0.05 ml.The vaccine should be administered using economical in ovo injection systems.
Eggs must be positioned vertically during the procedure.
Withdrawal Period:
None.
Storage Conditions:
Store in a refrigerator at 2–8 °C, away from light.
Protect from freezing.
Shelf Life:
Two years after the date of production.
