How to use :

Broiler: 0.2 ml, subcutaneous Layers & Breeders: 0.2 ml, revaccination 0.5 ml, subcutaneous or intramuscular.

Packing :

Polypropylene bottle of 500 ml stoppered with rubber closure and sealed with aluminium ring containing the vaccine in the form of oil emulsion, equal to 1000 doses.

Product Specifications

INDICATIONS:
Active immunization for chickens against Newcastle Disease and Avian Influenza A.

Composition:
Each dose of 0.5 ml contains:
_Inactivated Newcastle Disease virus, strain La Sota:
≥ 4.0 log2 HI units*
_Inactivated Avian Influenza virus A, subtype H9N2:
≥ 5.0 log2 HI units**
* HI units after injection of chickens with 1/50 dose
** HI units after injection of chickens with 1 dose
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in unhealthy birds.
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity on the active substances or any of excipients.
DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTES AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Administration route:
intramuscularly in the chest or subcutaneously in the lower part of the neck.
Dose:
Broiler: 0.2 ml per chick at day old subcutaneously Layers & Breeders: 0.2 ml per bird from day old up to 3 weeks. Revaccination at 8 weeks and between 12-16 weeks are recommended with a dose of 0.5 ml intramuscular.
ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION:
Shake well before use.
Allow the bottles to reach the room temperature (+20 °C) prior inoculation.For administration appropriate aseptic conditions should be maintained.
Withdrawal Period: None.

Special warnings for each target species: Vaccinate healthy animals only.
Special precautions for use in animals: None.

To the user:
This product contains a mineral oil. Accidental injection/self-injection may result in severe pain and swelling, particularly if injected into a joint or finger, and in rare cases could result in the loss of the affected finger if prompt medical attention is not given.
If you are accidentally injected with this veterinary medicinal product, seek prompt medical advice even if only a very small amounts injected and take the package leaflet with you. If pain persists for more than 12 hours after medical examination, seek medical advice again.
To the physician:
This product contains a mineral oil. Even if small amounts have been injected, accidental injection with this product can cause intense swelling, which may, for example, result in ischaemic necrosis and even the loss of a digit. Expert, PROMPT, surgical attention is required and may necessitate early incision and irrigation of the injected area, especially where there is involvement of finger pulp or tendon.
Use during pregnancy, lactation or lay:
Do not use during the laying period and 4 weeks before the laying period.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction:
No information is available on the safety and efficacy
of this vaccine when used with any other veterinary medicinal product.
A decision about using this vaccine before or after any other veterinary medicinal product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis.
Incompatibilities:
Do not mix with any other veterinary medicinal product.
Storage Conditions:
Store in a refrigerator (2 °C – 8 °C). Do not freeze.

Packaged product: 24 months. After opening: 10 hours
Oil emulsion, 500 ml (2500 doses, revaccination 1000 doses).
