
Indications:
For active immunization of chicks against inclusion body hepatitis (IBH) and Angara disease or hydropericardium syndrome (HHS). Also used in breeder flocks for passive immunity and maternal antibody transfer to chicks.
Vaccine Composition:
This injectable emulsion vaccine contains serotypes 8, 4, and 11 of avian adenovirus, with a minimum of 10⁸ TCID₅₀ per serotype per dose, emulsified with an oil adjuvant to enhance immunogenicity.
Dosage and Administration:
The dose varies between 0.1 to 0.25 ml depending on the age of the bird, administered via subcutaneous injection in the back of the neck or intramuscular injection.
Recommended Vaccination Schedule:
0.1 ml from the first week in broiler chicks; 0.25 ml from the second week in layers, breeders, and grandparent flocks.
Vaccination schedules are determined based on the protocols of the Veterinary Organization and the specialist veterinarian’s advice for each region.
First dose: 1 to 10 days of age
Second dose: 12 to 16 weeks of age
Third dose: 18 to 22 weeks of age
The vaccination program should be adjusted to consider the location of the poultry farm, outbreak risk, circulating serotypes, and veterinary criteria; therefore, it may change according to specific conditions or recommendations from the Veterinary Organization.
In infected areas and with the farm technician’s approval, a fourth dose can be administered between 36 to 40 weeks of age.
Precautions:
Bring the vaccine to room temperature (15 to 25°C) before use.
Shake the vaccine well before use and regularly during vaccination.
Withdrawal Period: None.
Storage Conditions:
Store the vaccine at 2 to 8°C away from sunlight.
Prevent freezing of the vaccine.
Shelf Life:
24 months.
